Milohas

In the mood for Colombian food? Come try this South San Jose gem out!

Located right across the street from Branham High School, Milohas is one of the very few (or maybe the only one?) Colombian restaurants in San Jose.

Columbia is located in South America. In between Venezuela and Ecuador and right above Brazil. Colombia is known for their colorful culture and their tasty dishes.

My husband has traveled there many times and he tells me that the best thing about Colombia is their food.

Milohas may be a small restaurant, but don’t let that fool you, their food is great. And it’s never too busy or packed so you’ll always find a place to sit.

From tasty Colombian fruit smoothies, to authentic Colombian dishes, even Colombian coffee and breakfast, they have it all.

I have in-laws who are Colombian and they also like to come here often. Sometimes they’ll even order large platters for their parties.

Milohas is very inexpensive and totally delicious. Their service is also 10/10. The cooks and cashiers are always so graceful.

One particular dish I’d recommend you try is their pan de bono. A soft, fresh baked ball of bread stuffed with melted cheese in the middle. AH-MAZING! Especially if you pair it with a fruit smoothie, mmmm. You could even take some to go. Throw them in the oven for a few minutes prior to eating them, and voila! Fresh baked pan de bono!

Milohas also has 4.5 stars on Yelp! You know me, I only recommend the best!

If ever you’re in the area, stop by! They’re right on the corner of Meridian Avenue and Branham Lane.

Enjoy!
