San José’s new hidden gem: Garden At The Flea

Hello, Bay Area!

I recently discovered a new space and I knew right away that I had to share it with you.

Garden at the Flea is a brand new expansion to the San Jose Flea Market that opened earlier this year. Here you will find an array of gourmet food trucks, live entertainment, music, games, vendors, a beer garden, photo booths, and more. They hold weekly events and the themes are always different!

Thursdays are trivia game night and are usually based on TV shows, movies, or any other pop culture topics. They recently had one based on the oh-so-popular show The Office.

Fridays are what they call their Berryessa Night Market, which also has different themes every week. This week’s theme is a Harvest Moon Festival which will have a car meet, outdoor cantina, lion dance, and a fire dancer.

The weekends are fun too! You not only get to enjoy the Garden at the Flea, but also the greatness that is the SJ Flea Market (closed on Thursdays and Fridays), where you will find all sorts of vendors (food, clothes, aguas frescas, toys, etc.).

All events include food trucks, the beer garden, games, and vendors!

If you have no plans this weekend (or on Thursday), now you do! Go eat, dance, play, drink, and shop!
